I had missed that an Altered Carbon tv series was going to be a thing. The books are excellent, hopefully they nail it.
So how does this fit into their "no commercials" policy?
Jokes aside, I don't want to see too much of this at future consumer shows.

Just finished the last episode of Season 4 Black Mirror called Black Museum  and it covers this subject as well. You can say the same about the infamous San Junipero .
You could even argue the manga/anime Ghost In The Shell is also about that .
Can recommend all of the above. Thought provoking, suspenseful, and emotionally touching.
